Privacy policy

Last updated 4 September 2026

Daintierxeno (“we”, “us”) is the controller of personal data processed through https://daintierxeno.click and through email sent to [email protected]. We are based at 1C Palace Grounds Rd, Hamilton ML3 6AD, UK.

What we collect

If you email us, we process the address you send from, your name if you give it, and the content of the message, so that we can reply. If you use the contact form, it only opens your own mail client; we receive what you choose to send.

If you accept optional cookies, we may record aggregated, non-identifying information about which pages are read (for example, that the monetary essay was opened). We do not sell personal data. We do not run advertising networks.

Essential storage in your browser remembers your cookie choice. That is a functional cookie, kept locally, and is not sent to us as a profile.

Lawful bases

Correspondence is processed under legitimate interests in running an editorial desk, and where relevant under contract if we have agreed to do specific work. Cookie analytics, if you accept them, are processed with consent. You may withdraw consent by using “Reject non-essential” on a later visit, or by writing to us.

How long we keep it

Editorial correspondence is kept for up to three years unless a longer period is needed for a legal claim or a correction history. Analytics logs, if used, are kept in aggregated form for 13 months.

Sharing

We use a hosting provider and an email provider to operate the site and the inbox. They process data on our instructions. We will disclose information if required by law in the United Kingdom.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability where those rights apply. Write to [email protected]. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

The site is written for a general adult audience. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date at the top of the page.
